About Your CDC
The Jefferson-Puritas West Park Community Development Corporation (Jefferson-Puritas) is the nonprofit community development corporation that serves the Jefferson and Bellaire-Puritas neighborhoods in West Park. Formerly the Bellaire-Puritas Development Corporation, Jefferson-Puritas changed its name in 2022 to better reflect all the neighborhoods we serve. While our name may have changed, the work that we do and the people that we serve are still the same.
Jefferson-Puritas serves the residents, businesses, and stakeholders in our neighborhoods through our four main areas of work: Community Development, Community Engagement, Senior and Neighborhood Services, and Youth Development. Through our programs, whether housing assistance, business assistance, assistance for senior citizens, or programing for our neighborhood youth, we seek to build resiliency and vibrancy of the Jefferson and Bellaire-Puritas neighborhoods in West Park. We are proud to have served these neighborhoods for over 30 years.
About The Jefferson-Puritas Neighborhoods
Welcome to the Jefferson and Bellaire-Puritas neighborhoods in Cleveland’s West Park! These vibrant West Park neighborhoods have lots to offer whether you are looking to live, visit, or open a business in the area. The Jefferson-Puritas area is one of the most diverse communities in Cleveland, home to families who have lived here for three generations as well as many newcomers who have just recently settled here. You can see our diversity represented through the restaurants that line the commercial corridors including Middle Eastern, Italian, German, Latin American, and Nepalese cuisine.
Jefferson-Puritas is home to beautiful, tree-lined streets with quality housing ranging from bungalows to ranches. The neighborhood is home to quality public and private schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade. We have great amenities such as seven city parks and the newly built Rockport Library. There are a variety of restaurants and bars in the area.

Join Jefferson Rocks West Park on Thursdays!
Every Thursday, starting July 11th we host our Concerts in Jefferson Park, in conjunction with Ward 16 Councilman Brian Kazy, through August 1st.
The opening act starts each Thursday at 6pm and the headliner begins at 8pm.
Come for the music, refreshments, the inflatable bounce houses and the new playgrounds for kids!
Beautiful Jefferson Park located at West 132nd and Lorain Avenue, the concerts are held in the field to the south by Cooley Avenue.
